Inverter For Wind Generator

All Wind Turbines output D/C power, but you need A/C power to run appliances – that’s where inverters come in.

If you’ve read this far, then you probably already know that the DIY Wind Turbine Plans final product will also output d/c power, but your house runs on a/c, not to worry, that’s what inverters are for.

All a inverter does is take the d/c power and switch it into a a/c power which has a more smooth wavelength that can be used to power anything your heart desires.

If this seems a little too easy, its because it really is this easy.

Just hook up one end of the inverter to the battery bank and the other end is used to plug in appliances, or a power strip that will allow you to power multiple appliances.

Inverters used to cost an arm and a leg up until the last 15 years or so, now they can be found for as little as 29 dollars. The whole key to how much power you can use, really comes down to the amount of batteries you have.
